US CELLULAR FIELD
Chicago, Illinois

BACK

In celebration of the 2005 World Series victory of the Chicago White Sox, a new entry plaza was created. To memorialize this event, a brick plaza symbolizing the shape of the infield was cut out of the existing sidewalk to set the stage for a unique monument sign.

Two landscape areas on either side of the plaza help to soften the architectural elements and to provide a sense of place. Linear seat walls at the edge of the landscape area provide adequate seating for White Sox fans and other visitors.

This project was completed in collaboration with 360 Architecture.
